H2C Advising is an educational consulting company serving families and organizations. As a provider of higher education professional services, the founder offers her solid experience to help students hone the skills needed to find the right fit and and get from High School to College.
Our goal for this project was to develop a brand that is light, friendly and accessible – attributes that very much align with the founder’s personality. Considering that the process to get into college can be intimidating and stressful, we wanted H2C to convey ease and play.
The typographic logo highlights ‘2’. ‘To’ relates to process and implies going from one point to another, an idea incorporated by an arrow in the negative space. The H and C letters are abstract and convey the shape of a building (H) and a student silhouette (C), making the logo bold, clean and objective.
For ‘advising’, we selected a rounded sans serif typography – a friendly choice that conveys experience, trust and responsibility. We also chose a sans serif typography for body text.
Green and blue bring formality to the brand and are used as primary colors. These colors symbolize loyalty, wisdom and success. We also added coral and red, warm colors opposite to green and blue, to create contrast and make the brand more relaxed, cozy and closer to the clients.
