New times call for new proposals.

Imagine having a team so in tune with your brand's heartbeat that they anticipate your needs and translate them into tangible experiences. That's the story of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and The Copper Portico. As their contracted design department, we're the creative backbone behind the brand's most memorable moments.

A Retainer Relationship That Delivers

The beauty of a retainer relationship is the synergy it creates. With Vizcaya, we’ve become more than a service provider; we’re part of the family. This closeness breeds consistency and quality that won awards and set new benchmarks for excellence.

What's next?

As we continue our journey with Vizcaya, our eyes are on the horizon. We’re already dreaming up the next series of designs that will captivate and engage. For us, every new project is a chance to innovate and celebrate the legacy that is Vizcaya.

The partnership between The Copper Portico and Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a living proof that the right creative team doesn’t just complete projects—they elevate brands. We don’t wait for direction; we’re part of the conversation, helping to shape the future of an institution that shapes the cultural landscape of Miami.

If you’re intrigued by what a dedicated, retainer-based partnership can do for your brand, let’s chat. We’re not just making designs; we’re crafting stories, and we’d love to tell yours.

We collaborated with Common Threads, a national nonprofit committed to celebrating different cultures through food, while also promoting the importance of health and wellness.

about

We collaborated with Common Threads, a national non-profit committed to celebrating different cultures through food, while also promoting the importance of health and wellness. Common Threads aspires to build communities that embrace healthy cooking, healthy eating and celebration of culture.

The organization’s logo is a patchwork heart, which suggests a multicultural world. Their team wanted to revamp the brand creating a friendly, modern look that would show Common Thread’s evolution, but that was still connected with its original identity.

design strategy

Staying aligned with the heart of Common Threads’ mission, we recreated the logo squares with rounded corners, with two sizes interspersed to create a patchwork effect in a modern way.

The new color palette reflects vibrant and friendly tones. The fonts chosen are clear and modern and the variety of font weights ensures flexibility and consistency for the future growth of Common Threads identity.

We paid special attention to the project’s photography, as it speaks louder than words. Effective branding includes a mix of premium stock photos and real, candid photos depicting the heart of an organization’s goal. Common Threads’ photography is positive, inspiring and eye-catching, leaving the viewer with an emotional connection to the campaign and what it stands for.

Climate Change Observatory Network (CCO) is an organization based in Maine that engages, educates and invites all people to appreciate the environment and help protect, nurture and care for our land and water.

about

Climate Change Observatory Network (CCO) is an organization based in Maine that engages, educates and invites all people to appreciate the environment and help protect, nurture and care for our land and water. In the face of climate change and its impact on our communities, we were proud to work on this project and design a brand identity that embodies their mission and vision.

design strategy

We crafted a symbol for their logo inspired by the human eye, symbolizing the vision we have of the environment and also how we capture images, since an important part of CCO’s work is documented with photographs. The central C is slightly larger as it is positioned like the iris of an eye – inside it a landscape silhouette symbolizes nature. A circle divided into several fractions represents the terrestrial globe seen from above, showing that climate change affects the whole world. The circle also emphasizes the iris. Three simplified versions of the main logo were designed to make the logo responsive.

Shades of blue and green were chosen for brand colors, keeping the land and the oceans in focus and creating a blend similar to weather forecast maps, in which colors shift as the temperature changes.

The font family recommended for all marketing and communications materials is Konnect, a clean and well-rounded font that conveys reliability and also speaks to the logo created.
